Description
The Wave Sofa is a three seat outdoor sofa built on a mocha finished aluminum and FSC teak frame, wrapped in 6mm latte olefin rope. The seat is upholstered in Sunproof fabric in Volga 164, a quiet neutral that sits easily against the rope and the warm grain of the teak. The proportions are low and wide, so the piece reads as relaxed rather than formal.
At 104 inches wide it is a true three seater, long enough that three adults are not negotiating for space, and at 38 inches deep it is made to sit back into rather than perch on. It suits a covered terrace, a poolside lounge area, or a loggia where you want one long sofa instead of a cluster of chairs. The Wave Sofa is offered in a single combination, Mocha and Teak, so the decision here is about scale and placement rather than finish. Outdoors in South Florida the materials matter more than the styling. Aluminum will not rust, and teak is naturally dense and oily, so it takes humidity in stride and will weather to a soft silver grey over time if you leave it unsealed.
