The Haven Ottoman is a compact outdoor ottoman wrapped in woven olefin rope, with a cushion in light grey fabric. It measures 24 inches wide, 21 deep and 16 high, light enough to move where you want it. Two finishes are offered: Dark Charcoal, a full charcoal aluminum frame with black olefin rope, and Teak, a mocha frame with teak legs and latte olefin rope. It is from $499, depending on the finish.
Haven is a Robin Delaere design for Pebl, whose design team works in Belgium. Delaere calls Haven a classic modern collection, tailored and very comfortable, and Pebl reports a 2024 Good Design Award from The Chicago Athenaeum for it. According to Pebl, its designs have won more than 55 international design awards.
Most Pebl pieces are in stock. Pebl is not on the Boca Raton showroom floor, so the Boca Raton team confirms availability of the ottoman in the finish you want and arranges a viewing at SoBe's Miami warehouse by appointment. The rope and fabric swatches are at the Boca Raton showroom.
Dark Charcoal is the sharper, more graphic version, with a full charcoal aluminum frame and black olefin rope that reads crisp against pale stone and white stucco. Teak is the warmer one, a mocha frame on teak legs with latte olefin rope, which sits easily beside wood decking and planting. The aluminum will not rust, the rope holds its color in strong sun, and the teak legs weather to a soft silver grey if left untreated.
The ottoman does three jobs. In front of a lounge chair it is a footrest, it becomes an extra seat when the group grows, and with a tray on top it works as a low surface beside a sofa. At 24 inches wide and 16 high it tucks alongside most outdoor seating without crowding a pool deck or a narrow balcony. A rinse after a windy stretch keeps salt and pollen out of the rope.
The ottoman shares its rope and frame treatment with the Haven sofas and the Haven Swivel Armchair, so a group reads as one scheme. The Haven 1 Seater Sofa, from $1,299, and Haven 3 Seater Sofa, from $2,799, come in the same Dark Charcoal and Teak finishes, and the Teak ottoman shares its mocha frame, latte rope and teak with the Haven Swivel Armchair, $1,699.
If you would rather have a chair and footrest as a set, the Coast Chair and Ottoman, $1,299, comes together in sunproof velvet on a Dark Charcoal or Mocha frame. For a full stretch-out seat, the Sunset Chaise, $1,099, and the Tolo Outdoor Lounge Chaise, $1,599, are both 78 inches long, and the Orbit 2 Seater and 3 Seater Sofas move into a lounge position with the Flex System.
Pebl launched in 2017 with a clear brief: outdoor furniture that is commercially smart, well designed and functional. Its collections are designed in Belgium by a team led by creative director Robin Delaere, who studied product development at the Antwerp Institute of Architecture and Design and has authored several patents.
The ideas move. The Tolo backrest turns a sofa into what the designer calls a lounge island, or a daybed. Orbit's Flex System lets one sofa sit upright, deep or as a lounge, and Sunset is, in the designer's words, a sun lounger by day and a sofa by night. Pebl describes all three mechanisms as patented. The Tolo sofa is a Red Dot 2026 winner, and according to Pebl its designs have won more than 55 international design awards.
The materials are chosen for strong sun and salt air: powder-coated aluminum that will not rust, teak that weathers to a soft silver grey, olefin rope that holds its color and Sunproof outdoor fabric. Most pieces are in stock. Our Boca Raton team arranges a viewing at our Miami warehouse by appointment, and every fabric, rope and finish swatch is at the Boca Raton showroom.
Pebl's project list includes hospitality projects across Europe, Asia, the Middle East and the Americas, among them Aman Rosa Alpina in the Dolomites, Ananea Madivaru in the Maldives, Cable Beach Club Resort and Spa in Broome, Western Australia, and The Tubkaak Krabi in Thailand.
