The most common thing I hear from a client on their third visit to our showroom is some version of: I wish I had brought this the first time. The "this" changes. Sometimes it is a floor plan. Sometimes it is a photo of the rug that has to stay. Sometimes it is the husband, who turns out to have strong feelings about seat depth. Whatever it is, the missing item is what turned a one-visit decision into a three-visit project, with a month of an unfinished living room in between.
