Six ways to dress a window
Every treatment below is custom-made to the measured opening and installed by our team. Which one suits a window depends on how it faces, how the room is used and what furniture is already in it.
Motorized shades
Raise and lower shades from a remote or an app, group them by room, or put them on a schedule. They suit tall windows, sliders to a balcony and any opening a cord would not reach comfortably. Tell us at the measurement visit whether the shades will run on battery packs or house power, so the motor and its power location are settled before anything is made.
Custom drapery
Panels in linen, velvet or performance fabrics, hung from a wall or ceiling track. For sliding glass doors to a lanai or balcony, a ceiling track lets the panels stack fully clear of the glass. Mounting the track close to the ceiling and extending it past the frame makes a window read taller and wider than it is.
Roman shades
A tailored fabric shade that folds as it rises, in flat, hobbled or relaxed styles with blackout or sheer linings. A good fit for bedrooms, breakfast nooks and any window where full drapery would feel like too much fabric.
Plantation shutters
Wide louvers in wood or a moisture-resistant composite made for Florida humidity. At the measurement visit we check the depth of the frame and how each window opens before choosing the frame style, so the panels swing and the louvers tilt without hitting a handle or a crank.
Wood and faux-wood blinds
Horizontal slats with a clean, warm line. Real wood for dry rooms such as offices and bedrooms; faux wood for kitchens, bathrooms and laundry rooms, where steam and splashes would warp a natural slat.
Solar and roller shades
A single fabric on a roller that cuts glare and UV while keeping the view. Solar fabrics come in different openness levels: a tighter weave blocks more heat, a more open weave keeps more of the view. Compare the levels side by side at the showroom before deciding.

Coordinated with the furniture
A drapery fabric is picked next to the leather of the sofa, the rug and the wood finish of the dining table, not from a swatch book on its own. If a piece is being made to order, the fabric for the shades can be chosen at the same time.
Samples next to the furniture
Fabric, shade and shutter samples are on the showroom floor beside the pieces they would sit with, so you can hold a linen up against a sectional and decide in daylight rather than from a screen.

Start at the showroom or by phone
Bring photos of each window and rough measurements, or send them ahead through the contact form. Note the width and height of the opening and whether you want the treatment inside the frame or over it; we take the final numbers. A designer walks you through fabric, shade and shutter samples alongside the furniture.
Measurement at your home
Before anything is fabricated, every opening is measured on site. We note frame depth, sill and trim details, how each window opens and where any motor power will sit.
Custom fabrication
Each treatment is made to its measured opening in the fabric, louver, finish and control you chose at the showroom.
Installation and walkthrough
Treatments are installed, motorized shades are paired to the remote or app, old treatments are removed and you get a walkthrough of how everything operates before we leave.

South Florida light is strong from early morning, and the rooms that get it hardest are the ones that call for a treatment first.
Ocean-facing living rooms
In Boca Raton and Highland Beach, east-facing glass toward the ocean or the Intracoastal means strong morning light and salt air. Solar shades keep the view while cutting glare and UV on the living room furniture; sheer drapery softens the light without closing the room in.
Primary bedrooms that need blackout

Measurement and installation cover Palm Beach, Broward and Miami-Dade counties: Boca Raton, Delray Beach, Highland Beach, Boynton Beach, Parkland, Fort Lauderdale, Aventura and the surrounding communities.
Installation is white-glove and free within those three counties. If your condo or gated community requires a gate pass or a certificate of insurance, we arrange it before the installation date, so have the property manager's requirements handy when you book. Interior designers, builders and architects working on projects in the area can use our trade program.

Yes. The design consultation at our Boca Raton showroom is complimentary. Bring photos of your windows and rough measurements, or send them ahead by email or through the contact form, and a designer will go through fabric, shade and shutter samples with you alongside the furniture.
Do you measure the windows at my home?
Yes. Final measurements for every opening are taken at your home before anything is fabricated. We check the width and height at several points, the depth of the frame, the trim and sill, how each window opens and where motor power would sit.
Can you match window treatments to my furniture?
Yes. Fabric, louver and finish samples are chosen next to the sofa, rug, dining table and wall finishes at the showroom, and the same designer who plans your furniture can plan the windows. If you are buying a made-to-order piece, the treatments can be chosen at the same time so the fabrics are decided together.
Do motorized shades work with a smart home?
Yes. Motorized shades are operated from a remote or an app and are smart-home ready, so they can be grouped by room and put on a schedule. At installation we pair the motors and set up the app with you.
What holds up to Florida humidity and salt air?
Composite plantation shutters and faux-wood blinds are moisture-resistant and suit kitchens, bathrooms and laundry rooms. Performance fabrics for drapery and solar shade fabrics stand up to strong sun in rooms facing the ocean or the Intracoastal. Real wood and natural fabrics are best kept for drier, shaded rooms.
