Mosaico Navy & Ivory Hand-Tufted Rug

Description

A deep navy rug crossed by a fine web of ivory and silver lines, like crackled glaze or sun-dried earth. The pattern is dense enough to hide everyday wear and quiet enough to sit under a bold sofa or a dining set.

It is hand-tufted in India from a blend of viscose and wool, with a medium pile that feels soft underfoot, and the viscose gives the lighter lines a subtle sheen. We recommend a non-slip rug pad underneath.

Dimensions and details

• Sizes: 3'3" x 5'3", 5' x 8', 6' x 9', 8' x 11', 9' x 13', 10' x 14', a 2'6" x 8' runner, and 8' x 8' and 10' x 10' squares
• Hand-tufted in India
• Viscose and wool blend, medium pile
• Navy with ivory and silver
• Use with a non-slip rug pad

Venato Ivory & Copper Hand-Knotted Wool Rug

Description

A hand-knotted rug with an ivory ground traced by warm copper-brown veins, like the fine cracks running through polished stone. The pattern is loose and organic, so it reads as natural rather than printed, and it sits as easily under a dining table as it does under a bed or a sofa group.

It is knotted by hand in India from a blend of wool and rayon: the wool gives it body and softness underfoot, and the rayon adds a soft luster to the veining. Professional cleaning is recommended, and we suggest pairing it with a rug pad.

Sizes and details

• Sizes: 4' x 6', 6' x 9', 8' x 10', 9' x 12', 10' x 14', 12' x 15', 12' x 18' and a 3' x 10' runner
• Hand-knotted in India
• 75% wool, 25% rayon
• Ivory with copper-brown veining
• Professional cleaning only; use with a rug pad

Tapiz Outdoor Rug

Description

Tapiz is an outdoor rug in Textilene, offered as a rectangle in two neutral colors, beige and light gray. Both read as quiet ground layers, which is usually what you want under a seating group. The rug pulls the furniture together instead of competing with it.

The choice comes down to size and color. The beige rectangle is the larger of the two at 118 inches by 157 inches, wide enough to carry a full seating group with the front legs of every piece landing on the rug rather than half on and half off. The light gray rectangle, at 79 inches by 118 inches, suits a pair of loungers, a compact conversation set, or the run of a covered walkway between the house and the pool deck. Beige warms up gray porcelain and poured concrete, while light gray settles in against teak and warmer stone.

Tapiz is made for outdoor rooms, so the spot you give it matters. A covered lanai, a shaded terrace, or the protected side of a pool deck all work well. South Florida sun, salt air, and afternoon storms are hard on anything left fully in the open, so the more cover the location has, the better the rug will look season after season.

Dimensions

• Rectangular Beige: 118"W x 157"D
• Rectangular Light Gray: 79"W x 118"D

Tapiz Outdoor Round Rug

Description

The Tapiz Outdoor Round Rug is a flat woven textilene rug in a soft beige. The round shape and tight, even weave give a terrace a finished floor without the bulk or pile of an indoor rug. The neutral beige reads as sand or natural fiber from a few steps away and sits quietly under almost any furniture.

Tapiz comes in two sizes, Medium and Small, so you can anchor a full seating group or define a smaller corner. Round rugs work best with round or low profile pieces: a dining table with the chairs pulled clear of the edge, or a pair of lounge chairs and a side table. Under a covered lanai or out on open pool decking, it softens hard tile and stone underfoot. Go with the larger size if you want the chair legs to stay on the rug when guests push back from the table.

Textilene is a woven synthetic mesh, so rain and pool splash pass through it and it dries quickly instead of holding damp the way a pile rug would. That matters here, where an afternoon storm can soak a terrace and the humidity never fully lets go. Hose it off when sand or salt builds up and let it dry flat.
