Pebl Outdoor Is Now in Boca Raton: Planning a Patio Zone by Zone
Most Boca Raton patios are not designed. They are accumulated. A dining set arrives one spring, two loungers follow the next, and by the third summer nothing matches, the steel legs have rust blooms at the welds and the cushions have faded in a stripe where the afternoon sun lands.
South Florida is harder on outdoor furniture than any catalog photo suggests. The sun sits high most of the year, the air east of Federal Highway carries salt, and the summer rain arrives every afternoon for months. A Highland Beach balcony takes wind and spray, a screened lanai in Boca Bridges takes heat with no breeze, and a pool deck in Royal Palm Yacht & Country Club takes all of it plus chlorine splash.
SoBe Furniture launched its outdoor category today with one brand, Pebl Outdoor: 71 pieces, including nine named ranges, designed in Belgium and built for these conditions. This guide walks a patio the way our design team plans one, by zone: where you eat, where you lie down, what sits between, and what happens after dark. Each zone has a Pebl answer, and the whole plan can be settled in one visit to Boca Raton.
The Four Zones That Decide a Boca Raton Patio
Start with the route, not the furniture
Before choosing a piece, walk the path people actually take: door to grill, grill to table, table to pool steps. That route has to stay open, and it decides where dining can sit; on a narrow Delray Beach pool deck it is why an oval table beats a rectangle.
Zone one: dining
The dining zone wants a table that seats everyone on a Sunday and still leaves room to pull the chairs out. Pebl's Albatros Oval Extendable Dining Table runs 98 inches closed and extends to 122, on a mocha aluminum frame with a 6mm beige ceramic top. Around it, the Haven Dining Armchair comes in one mocha and light gray combination, so a set of six and a set of eight read exactly the same.
Zone two: lounge
The Haven 3 Seater Sofa is the answer for most homes, 71 inches wide with a low 32-inch back, an upholstered seat and an olefin rope back on FSC teak legs, in Dark Charcoal or Teak. For a larger deck, the Tolo Sofa in the photo above is 93 inches wide and 51 deep, with a backrest that adjusts from upright for conversation to reclined for the pool.
Zone three: the in-between pieces
Pebl's Hilo Lift Coffee Table is a 32-inch round in mocha aluminum with a beige ceramic top that lifts from coffee height to low dining height, so one poolside group holds drinks and then dinner. The Orbit Side Table is 30 inches across and only 13 high, with a travertine top, so it sits within reach of a deep lounge chair without breaking the sightline.
Zone four: light, ground and serving
After dark is when a Boca Raton patio is at its best. Pebl's Spark lamps are solar, with the panel set into a mocha aluminum cap on a travertine base; the Cone and Small sizes sit low on a dining or side table and the X-Large anchors a corner of a covered terrace, with no cord to run across a deck. Under the lounge zone, the beige Tapiz Outdoor Rug in Textilene, 118 by 157 inches, carries a full seating group with every front leg on the rug.
Who Pebl Outdoor Is, and Why SoBe Chose It
Pebl has been designed in Belgium under creative director Robin Delaere since the brand launched in 2017, with production partners in China and Indonesia. Its collections are recognized internationally for pairing an architectural, modern line with real comfort, and that pairing is why we chose it. Few outdoor lines carry one design language across sofas, dining, tables, rugs and lighting, so a terrace reads as a room rather than a set of purchases.
The same materials repeat through the range: powder-coated aluminum frames in mocha or dark charcoal that will not rust, FSC teak that weathers to silver grey unless oiled once or twice a year, 6mm olefin rope that holds its color in direct sun, solution-dyed sunproof fabric, 6mm ceramic tops in beige, grey or graphite, and travertine on the Orbit tables and Spark bases. Because the same two finishes repeat, a Haven sofa, a Jack stool and an Albatros table share one pool deck without arguing. Priced pieces run from the Beam solar lamp at $99 to the Tolo Sofa at $6,599; a few tables, including the Hilo Lift Dining Table, are quoted on request.
The Nine Ranges, and Where Each One Belongs
Pebl Outdoor at SoBe is organized around nine named ranges, each with its own page inside the Outdoor collection, with pieces like the Albatros tables, Spark and Beam lamps and Tapiz rugs sitting alongside them.
Haven and Palma: rope-backed sofas at two scales
Haven is the core family: sofas in one, two and three seats, a swivel armchair, ottoman, dining armchair, coffee and side tables. The three-seater comes in Dark Charcoal or Teak; most of the family runs mocha aluminum with FSC teak details. Palma runs the same idea in dark charcoal at a larger scale, with a 101-inch three-seater.
Tolo and Wave: the top of the range
Tolo is the flagship, from the adjustable-back sofa and the low lounge chaise to the all-teak dining table. Wave seating comes in a single Mocha Teak colorway with latte rope: a 104-inch sofa and the Wave Swivel Armchair, a 39-inch-wide lounge chair that turns toward the water without moving. Its ceramic-top coffee and side tables add a Dark Charcoal option with a graphite top.
Sunset and Costa: the mocha families
Sunset is built on mocha aluminum, with a Light Green option on several dining pieces and sunproof cushions on its loungers: the long, low Sunset Chaise, 78 inches long and 13 inches high, plus dining chairs, bar stools, bar and counter tables and the rolling trolley. Costa is the plainest line, mocha aluminum fully upholstered in light grey.
Hilo, Jack and Orbit: the specialists
Hilo is the lift-top ceramic family. Jack is woven rope over aluminum, with a 25.6-inch counter stool for an outdoor kitchen ledge and a taller barstool. Orbit mixes mocha aluminum with FSC teak, a Flex seating system that sets to regular, deep and lounge positions, and travertine on its tables.
Condo Balcony, Covered Lanai or Pool Deck
The condo balcony
On a balcony above Mizner Park or facing the ocean in Highland Beach, wind and depth matter more than sun, so plan one zone. Two Wave Swivel Armchairs with an Orbit Side Table between them make a complete group in about nine feet of width. Aluminum frames are light enough to carry inside, and the 79 by 118 inch light gray Tapiz fits the footprint.
The covered lanai or townhouse terrace
This is where most single-family homes in Boca Bridges, Lotus, Parkland and Weston live outdoors. Put dining under cover so the four o'clock rain does not end dinner, and the lounge zone in the open where the evening breeze reaches it. A Tolo or Haven three-seater, two lounge chairs, the Hilo lift table and the beige Tapiz rug make the full set.
The pool deck and outdoor kitchen
A pool deck in Royal Palm Yacht & Country Club has room for all four zones, and the common mistake is spreading them evenly. Cluster the lounge zone near the pool steps with Sunset chaises in pairs, hold dining closer to the house and the grill with the Albatros oval and six Haven armchairs, and keep the route between them open.
Hurricane season, honestly
No outdoor furniture should ride out a named storm on an open terrace. Cushions, rugs and lamps come inside first, aluminum frames are light enough for two people to bring a lounge group under cover, and rope backs shed water. When our designers plan your layout, ask them to plan the storage route too.
How Buying Pebl Outdoor Through SoBe Works
Pebl Outdoor works differently from our indoor floor. The pieces are made to order and are not standing on the showroom floor on Federal Highway, and that shapes the visit.
Step one: the swatches, in Boca Raton
Boca Raton holds every fabric, rope and finish swatch for the entire outdoor range, which is the part of the decision a screen gets wrong. The swatches are on hand any day the store is open, and a designer will plan the zones with you. Bring the deck measurements and a photo from the slider, and you can leave with a layout and a color decision the same afternoon.
Step two: seeing the pieces, in Miami
The pieces themselves are shown at our Miami warehouse by appointment, which we arrange for you. That is where you sit on the Tolo and move the backrest, work the Hilo lift and try the swivel on the Wave. Scale is the one thing no photograph gets right.
Step three: layout, route and quote
From there the designer draws the layout, checks the delivery route from driveway to deck, because a side gate, a stair or a condo elevator changes what will fit, and quotes the pieces. The order is then built in your finish and fabric, delivery is white glove and financing is available.

Frequently Asked Questions
Where can I see Pebl Outdoor furniture near Boca Raton?
Start at SoBe Furniture, 6599 N Federal Highway in Boca Raton, where every fabric, rope and finish swatch for the Pebl Outdoor range is kept any day the store is open. The pieces themselves are shown at our Miami warehouse by appointment, which the Boca Raton team arranges. Call (561) 221-6111 to book.
Is Pebl Outdoor furniture in stock at the Boca Raton showroom, or made to order?
Made to order in your finish and fabric, and not on the Boca Raton floor. You choose from swatches in Boca Raton, see the pieces in Miami by appointment, and SoBe's designers draw the layout, check the delivery route to Delray Beach, Parkland or Fort Lauderdale, and quote the order. Ask about timing when you visit.
Who designs Pebl Outdoor furniture?
Pebl is designed in Belgium under creative director Robin Delaere, who has led its design team since the brand launched in 2017, working with production partners in China and Indonesia. SoBe Furniture carries nine Pebl ranges, from Haven and Tolo to Orbit and Wave.
Does Pebl Outdoor hold up to salt air in Highland Beach and along A1A?
The frames are aluminum, which does not rust in salt air the way steel does, and the olefin rope holds its color in direct sun. Ceramic tops wipe clean and travertine asks only for a fresh-water rinse; bring the cushions in for storms.
How much does a Pebl Outdoor dining set cost at SoBe Furniture?
At the time of writing, the Haven Dining Armchair is $699 each, the Albatros Oval Extendable Dining Table is $3,199 and the all-teak Tolo Dining Table is $2,199. A designer quotes the full set once the layout is drawn.
What outdoor furniture works on a Boca Raton condo balcony?
Pieces compact in depth and easy to move: two Wave Swivel Armchairs, an Orbit Side Table and a solar Spark or Beam lamp make a complete group with no wiring. Measure the balcony depth and the door, check your building's furniture rules, and our designers check the elevator route before anything is ordered.
Does teak outdoor furniture turn grey in Florida?
Yes. Left to sun and salt air, FSC teak moves from honey brown to a soft silver grey; oiling it once or twice a year holds the warmer color. The teak finish is on the swatches in Boca Raton, so you can see the starting color and decide how you want to maintain it before you order.
