Haven Swivel Armchair
Description
The Haven Swivel Armchair pairs a mocha aluminum frame with a latte olefin rope back and teak arms, over a seat upholstered in light grey fabric. It is the swivel chair of Pebl's Haven range, a classic modern collection of rounded shapes and curved lines that its designer describes as tailored and very comfortable. Haven was designed in Belgium by Pebl's design team led by creative director Robin Delaere, and the collection won a 2024 Good Design Award from The Chicago Athenaeum.

Woven rope, warm wood and soft neutral upholstery give the chair a quiet, tailored look rather than a standard patio profile, and it comes with one 40 x 40 cm cushion. At 32 inches wide and 30 inches deep, it is roomy enough to settle into and still compact enough to use in pairs, flanking an outdoor sofa or pulled up to a fire table. The swivel is what makes it so useful on a lanai or covered terrace, where one chair often has to face the conversation and then turn toward the water. It comes in the one combination shown: mocha frame, latte rope, light grey seat and teak arms.
Aluminum will not rust, which is the main thing in salt air, and olefin rope holds its color through long hours of direct sun. The teak arms will weather to a soft silver-grey if left untreated, or can be kept closer to their original tone with occasional oiling. Rinse the frame and rope with fresh water from time to time, and bring the cushion in ahead of an afternoon storm.
