Description
The Costa 3 Seater Sofa is built on a mocha aluminum frame and upholstered in light grey fabric. Mocha gives the frame a warm brown tone, and the light grey upholstery keeps the piece neutral and easy to build around. It is a clean, modern outdoor sofa that settles into a space instead of competing with it.
At 93 inches wide it seats three without crowding, which makes it the anchor piece for a covered terrace, a pool deck, or a shaded courtyard grouping. The 45 inch depth is built for lounging rather than perching, and the 34 inch overall height keeps sightlines open across a patio. It comes with two green cushions at 50 x 50 cm and two grey cushions at 40 x 40 cm, so you have a little color to play against the neutral upholstery. The frame comes in mocha.
Aluminum is the right frame material for South Florida because it does not rust, so salt air and humidity are far less of a concern than they would be with steel. The light grey upholstery holds up best when you brush debris off the seat and let the cushions dry out after an afternoon storm, and a covered or partly shaded spot will keep the color looking fresh longer. Rinse the frame with fresh water now and then to clear off salt spray.
