Our XL Family Beds are designed for families who want a beautiful oversized bed with more space, more comfort, and a custom look made specifically for their home. Each bed is made to order and can be built to fit the width of two Queen mattresses, 120" wide, or two King mattresses, 152" wide, creating the ultimate oversized sleep space for families, lounging, movie nights, or anyone who simply wants a truly luxurious bed.

Choose from over 30 covering options, including soft neutrals, textured fabrics, performance materials, and designer-inspired finishes. Materials and colors must be selected in person at our Boca Raton showroom so you can see and feel the options before your bed is made.

We can also bring your vision to life. Whether you saw a design somewhere, found inspiration online, or created your own concept, our team can help customize a family bed around the look you want.

Ordering Process

Select your bed model, visit our Boca Raton showroom to choose your material and color, and place your deposit to begin production. Once your order is confirmed, your XL Family Bed is custom built for you.

Normal lead time is approximately 10 to 14 weeks. Expedited delivery is available for clients who need their bed sooner, with an estimated timeline of 4 to 6 weeks.

Bedding

Sheets, comforters, and oversized bedding for family beds can be purchased online through various retailers, including Amazon and other specialty bedding stores.

Delivery & Installation

Local delivery is free. Assembly and installation are available for $199.

For deliveries outside of our local delivery area or to other states, delivery and installation will be handled by a third-party delivery company for a flat fee of $899.

Custom Order Policy

All XL Family Beds are custom made to order. Because each bed is built specifically for the client, there are no refunds, cancellations, or exchanges on custom made items. Please call us or visit the showroom if you have any other questions.

To maintain our highly competitive pricing and pass those savings directly on to you, we operate on a final sale basis. We are unable to offer refunds or exchanges once a purchase is made, so please let our team know how we can assist you in selecting the exact right piece for your home prior to checkout.

SoBe Furniture offers, but does not require the purchase of, a 5-Year Furniture Protection Plan. The 5-Year Furniture Protection Plan offered by SoBe Furniture is optional and can only be purchased at the same time as the merchandise that it covers. For merchandise to be covered under the 5-Year Furniture Protection Plan, the protection plan MUST be explicitly itemized within the same order as the merchandise. If a furniture protection plan is not purchased, all warranties provided, if any, are Manufacturer Warranties.

  • SoBe Furniture deliveries are available Monday through Friday, between 10:00 am and 5:00 pm
  • You will be given a three-hour time window in which your delivery will be completed
  • If you live in a condominium, apartment, or gated community with restrictions, the delivery will occur during the time allowed by the community. If your condominium, apartment or community requires proof of liability insurance, elevator reservations or has any other specific rules or regulations, please make arrangements with both SoBe Furniture and your community’s management office at least one week prior to your delivery.
  • Your delivery includes assembly and set up along with the removal of any packaging materials. Sorry, but we do not hang wall-mounted mirrors, pictures, or any other pieces of furniture which require wall assembly.
