Description
The Haven Coffee Tables come in two sizes of the same round outdoor coffee table, each set on a teak frame and legs with a 6mm beige ceramic top. Both belong to Pebl's Haven range, a classic modern collection of rounded shapes and curved lines offered in full-aluminum and teak versions, with teak as the richer of the two. Haven was designed in Belgium by Pebl's design team, led by creative director Robin Delaere, and the collection won a 2024 Good Design Award from The Chicago Athenaeum.

The warm grain of the teak against the flat, pale ceramic gives the table a quiet, natural look that still reads modern. The shape is deliberately simple, so nothing about it competes with the seating around it. The small size, 24 inches across and 11 inches high, suits a pair of lounge chairs or a compact balcony grouping. The large, 32 inches across and 13 inches high, is better centered in front of a sofa or a full sectional, where you want room for a tray, drinks and a book. Both sit at lounge height rather than dining height, so they pair naturally with deep outdoor seating.
Outdoors in South Florida, the ceramic top does the daily work. It is a hard, non-porous surface, so spills wipe off and strong sun does not fade it. Teak is a good match for this climate because it handles humidity and salt air well. Left untreated, it weathers from honey brown to a soft silver grey; if you prefer the original tone, periodic cleaning and teak oil will hold it.
