Hilo Lift Coffee Table

Description

The Hilo Lift Coffee Table is a round outdoor coffee table from Pebl's Hilo range, built entirely from aluminum in a mocha finish and topped with 6mm beige ceramic, with a lift top that turns it from a coffee table into a low dining table. It comes from Pebl Outdoor, a brand launched in 2017 whose collections are designed in Belgium by a team led by creative director Robin Delaere, and which says its designs have won more than 55 international design awards.

The round shape and low profile make it easy to place inside a seating group, and the warm mocha frame against the pale beige surface gives it a modern look that still feels relaxed. Because the top lifts from coffee table height up to low dining table height and back down again, it suits a poolside lounge group that has to do two jobs in one evening: drinks and a book at the lower setting, then plates and glasses at the higher one. At 32 inches across, it serves a sofa and a pair of chairs without crowding the walkway around them. It is offered in a single mocha finish with the beige ceramic top.

Aluminum does not rust, which matters this close to the water. The ceramic top is a hard surface that wipes clean after an afternoon storm and holds its color in direct sun. Rinse the frame with fresh water now and then so salt and pool chemicals do not build up on the finish.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will the Hilo Lift Coffee Table hold up by the pool?

The all-aluminum frame does not rust, which matters close to the water, and the ceramic top is a hard surface that wipes clean after an afternoon storm and holds its color in direct sun. Rinse the frame with fresh water now and then so salt and pool chemicals do not build up on the finish.

How does the lift top work, and what seating does the Hilo Lift Coffee Table suit?

The top lifts from coffee table height up to low dining table height and back down again, so the table can hold drinks and a book, then plates and glasses, in the same evening. At 32" Dia x 18"H, it serves a sofa and a pair of chairs without crowding the walkway around them.
