Hilo is the Pebl Outdoor answer to a terrace that has to do more than one job. Its three round tables are built entirely from aluminum in a warm mocha finish, and each carries a 6mm beige ceramic top that lifts. The two coffee tables hold drinks and a book in the afternoon and rise to bring plates up at dinner. The dining table seats a meal and then rises to counter height for glasses and stools later in the evening.
SoBe Furniture in Boca Raton offers the Hilo Lift Coffee Table, 32 inches across, and the Hilo Lift Small Coffee Table, 24 inches across, which both rise from an 18 inch coffee height to low dining height, and the Hilo Lift Dining Table, 32 inches across, which adjusts from 30 to 41 inches high. All three come in one finish, mocha aluminum with a beige ceramic top. Aluminum does not rust, and the ceramic wipes clean after an afternoon storm and holds its color in direct sun.
Pebl is an outdoor furniture brand whose design team in Belgium has been led by creative director Robin Delaere since the brand launched in 2017. According to Pebl, the brand has won more than 55 international design awards, among them a Red Dot Award: Product Design 2026 for its Tolo sofa. Pebl's brand-wide project list includes resorts, beachfront villas and pool decks across Europe, Asia, the Middle East and the Americas, such as Aman Rosa Alpina in the Dolomites and Ananea Madivaru in the Maldives.
Most Pebl Outdoor pieces are in stock. Hilo is not on the Boca Raton showroom floor, so the Boca Raton team confirms availability of the table you want and arranges a viewing at our Miami warehouse by appointment. Every finish swatch is at the Boca Raton showroom, where a designer can plan the layout with you.
Every Hilo table has a top that lifts. The Hilo Lift Coffee Table and the Hilo Lift Small Coffee Table are listed at 18 inches high and rise to low dining height, so a lounge group can hold drinks and a book in the afternoon and plates at dinner. The Hilo Lift Dining Table adjusts from 30 inches, a seated dining height, to 41 inches for standing drinks or stools. One table that changes height is often the better answer on a terrace that has to do two jobs in one evening.
Both Hilo coffee tables are round, so there are no corners to work around inside a seating group. The Hilo Lift Coffee Table is 32 inches across, enough to serve a sofa and a pair of chairs without crowding the walkway. The Hilo Lift Small Coffee Table is 24 inches across, sized for a pair of lounge chairs, a balcony or the open end of a sectional. Raised, either one brings a plate up to a comfortable level without anyone moving to a dining set.
At 32 inches across, the Hilo Lift Dining Table stays compact enough for a balcony, a narrow terrace or a corner of a larger patio where a full dining table would crowd the room. For stools at the top setting, allow roughly ten to twelve inches between the seat and the underside of the top. Within Pebl Outdoor, the Jack Barstool seat sits at 29.5 inches, about 11.5 inches below the surface of a 41 inch top, so ask the team to confirm knee clearance under the table edge. At dining height, check that chair arms clear the table edge too.
Hilo frames are built entirely from aluminum in a mocha finish, and aluminum does not rust in salt air. The 6mm beige ceramic tops are hard and dense: they hold their color in direct sun, and sunscreen, citrus and spilled drinks wipe off rather than soaking in. There is no sealing or oiling of the kind a wood table asks for. Rinse the frame with fresh water now and then so salt and pool chemicals do not build up on the finish.
Pebl launched in 2017 with a clear brief: outdoor furniture that is commercially smart, well designed and functional. Its collections are designed in Belgium by a team led by creative director Robin Delaere, who studied product development at the Antwerp Institute of Architecture and Design and has authored several patents.
The ideas move. The Tolo backrest turns a sofa into what the designer calls a lounge island, or a daybed. Orbit's Flex System lets one sofa sit upright, deep or as a lounge, and Sunset is, in the designer's words, a sun lounger by day and a sofa by night. Pebl describes all three mechanisms as patented. The Tolo sofa is a Red Dot 2026 winner, and according to Pebl its designs have won more than 55 international design awards.
The materials are chosen for strong sun and salt air: powder-coated aluminum that will not rust, teak that weathers to a soft silver grey, olefin rope that holds its color and Sunproof outdoor fabric. Most pieces are in stock. Our Boca Raton team arranges a viewing at our Miami warehouse by appointment, and every fabric, rope and finish swatch is at the Boca Raton showroom.
Pebl's project list includes hospitality projects across Europe, Asia, the Middle East and the Americas, among them Aman Rosa Alpina in the Dolomites, Ananea Madivaru in the Maldives, Cable Beach Club Resort and Spa in Broome, Western Australia, and The Tubkaak Krabi in Thailand.
