Albatros Rectangular Extendable Dining Table
Description
The Albatros Rectangular Extendable Dining Table is built on a charcoal aluminum frame with a 6mm grey ceramic top. The lines are straight and quiet, so the table carries a large footprint without looking heavy. It comes from Pebl, the outdoor furniture brand launched in 2017 whose collections are designed in Belgium by a team led by creative director Robin Delaere; Pebl says its designs have won more than 55 international design awards.

The top extends in stages, from 110 inches to 134 inches and out to 157 inches, so you can keep it compact day to day and open it up when you are entertaining. At 39 inches deep there is room for a centerpiece down the middle with space left for plates and serving dishes, and the 30 inch height is standard dining height, so it pairs with most outdoor dining chairs. It suits a covered terrace, a pool deck or a long loggia where the run of the space calls for a rectangle rather than a round table. It is offered in a single Dark Charcoal finish.
Aluminum does not rust, which matters on a coastal property where salt air gets into everything. The ceramic top is non-porous, so spilled wine or sunscreen wipes off instead of soaking in, and an afternoon storm means a rinse and a towel rather than a problem. A fresh water rinse now and then keeps salt from building up on the frame.

Frequently Asked Questions
How does the Albatros Rectangular Extendable Dining Table handle coastal weather?
The aluminum frame does not rust, which matters where salt air gets into everything. The ceramic top is non-porous, so spilled wine or sunscreen wipes off instead of soaking in, and after an afternoon storm a rinse and a towel are all it needs. A fresh water rinse now and then keeps salt from building up on the frame.
How far does the table extend, and what chairs work with it?
It has three width positions: 110, 134 and 157 inches, all 39 inches deep and 30 inches high. The 30 inch height is standard dining height, so it pairs with most outdoor dining chairs, and the 39 inch depth leaves room for a centerpiece plus plates and serving dishes.
