The Tolo 1 Seater Sofa is a single seat lounge piece with a wide, squared frame and olefin rope woven across the backrest. Either way it reads low and horizontal, closer to modern indoor lounge seating than to traditional patio furniture.

At 36 inches wide and 42 inches deep, this is a genuinely deep seat, built for sitting back rather than perching. A cushion is included, and the single seat format is easy to plan around: two facing a low table, four squared off by the pool, or one pulled up to seating you already own. Tolo Armchair

Description

The Tolo Armchair is a low, open lounge chair with the seat and backrest worked in olefin rope. It comes two ways: a mocha aluminum frame with latte olefin rope, upholstered in light grey fabric with light grey olefin rope on the backrest and seat, or a teak wood frame with beige olefin rope. The rope does most of the visual work, so the chair reads woven and quiet rather than bulky.

At 28 inches wide and 29 inches deep, Tolo fits where a full size lounge chair will not. Tolo Sofa

Description

The Tolo Sofa is a three seater built around a rope wrapped frame, with a deep seat upholstered in light grey fabric and a backrest worked in light grey olefin rope. The rope softens the long horizontal line of the frame, so a piece at this scale still reads relaxed rather than heavy. Two 50 x 50 cm cushions and two 60 x 60 cm cushions come with it.

Tolo Dining Table

Description

The Tolo Dining Table is an extra large outdoor dining table made in FSC teak, wood through both the top and the base. The grain and the heft of the teak do the work here, so the table reads as one solid form rather than a slab set on a frame. The look is warm, plain and modern.

It is built at extra large scale, which makes it a table for a full group rather than a morning coffee outside. It works on a covered terrace, along a pool deck or in a courtyard with enough room to pull chairs all the way around. There are two ways to take it: the full FSC teak version, or a mocha aluminum frame with a beige ceramic top, which is arriving soon for anyone who wants a lighter frame and a harder surface.

Teak suits South Florida. Left to the sun and the salt air it will move from honey brown to a soft silver grey, and oiling it once or twice a year holds the warmer color if you prefer it that way. Tolo Barstool

Description

The Tolo Barstool is built on a slim mocha aluminum frame wrapped in 6mm latte olefin rope, which gives the piece its texture and softens the metal underneath. The two tones sit close together, so the stool reads as one quiet shape rather than a frame with something stretched over it. The seat is cushioned in sunproof fabric over quick dry foam.
