Haven Ottoman

The Haven Ottoman is a compact outdoor ottoman wrapped in woven olefin rope, topped with a cushion upholstered in light gray fabric. It belongs to Pebl's Haven range, a classic modern collection of rounded shapes and curved lines that comes in full-aluminum and teak versions, and this ottoman is offered in both. Haven was designed in Belgium by Pebl's design team led by creative director Robin Delaere, and the collection won a 2024 Good Design Award from The Chicago Athenaeum.

The rope work softens the frame and gives the piece a relaxed, modern look that sits easily next to clean-lined seating. It is light enough to move where you want it and solid enough to hold its own in a finished outdoor room. Use it as a footrest in front of a lounge chair, as extra seating when the group grows, or as a low surface for a tray beside a sofa. At 24 inches wide and 16 inches high, it tucks alongside most outdoor seating without crowding a terrace, a pool deck or a narrow balcony.

Two finishes are offered. Dark Charcoal pairs a full aluminum charcoal frame with black olefin rope for a sharper, more graphic look. Teak pairs a mocha frame and teak legs with latte olefin rope for something warmer. The full aluminum frame of the Dark Charcoal finish does not rust, so it takes salt air and humidity in stride. Olefin rope is made to hold its color through long hours of direct sun, and on the Teak finish the legs will weather to a soft silver gray if left untreated, which many owners prefer. A rinse after an afternoon storm or a windy stretch keeps salt and pollen from settling into the rope.
