Description
The Tolo Dining Armchair pairs an FSC teak frame with a seat and back worked in beige olefin rope. The teak brings warmth and visible grain, while the rope keeps the chair light in feel and open to the air. It is an understated modern chair that sits comfortably alongside a teak, stone, or concrete dining table.
Tolo is scaled for real dining rather than for show. At 23 inches wide and 23 inches deep it tucks close to the table without crowding the chair beside it, and the arms give you something to settle into over a long dinner. The version offered now is the FSC teak frame with beige olefin rope, and it works on a covered terrace, a pool deck dining area, or a shaded courtyard. A mocha aluminum frame with 6mm latte olefin rope, Sunproof seat cushion fabric, and quick-dry foam is coming soon rather than available today, so ask us about timing if that is the one you want.
The teak and rope version is made for the way South Florida actually treats outdoor furniture. Teak weathers to a soft silver gray if you leave it untreated, or keeps its honey tone with occasional oiling. Olefin rope is built to hold its color through strong sun, long summer light, salt air, and humidity.
