Albatros Rectangular Extendable Dining Table
Description
The Albatros rectangular extendable dining table is built on a charcoal aluminum frame with a 6mm grey ceramic top. The lines are straight and quiet, so the table carries a large footprint without looking heavy. It is offered in a single Dark Charcoal finish.
The top extends in stages, from 110 inches to 134 inches and out to 157 inches, so you can keep it compact day to day and open it up when you are entertaining. At 39 inches deep there is room for a centerpiece down the middle and still space for plates and serving dishes. The 30 inch height is standard dining height, so it pairs with most outdoor dining chairs. It suits a covered terrace, a pool deck, or a long loggia where the run of the space calls for a rectangle rather than a round table.
Aluminum does not rust, which matters on a coastal property where salt air gets into everything. The ceramic top is non-porous, so spilled wine or sunscreen wipes off instead of soaking in, and an afternoon storm means a rinse and a towel rather than a problem. A fresh water rinse now and then keeps salt from building up on the frame.
