Description
The Timo Dining Armchair sets a charcoal aluminum frame against FSC teak armrests and a Sunproof fabric seat cushion. The frame is slim and squared off, so the chair holds a clean modern line, while the teak keeps it from reading cold or industrial. In Dark Charcoal it works as a quiet piece at the table rather than the thing you look at first.
At 23 inches wide and 24 inches deep, Timo is sized to tuck in properly at a dining table instead of eating up the length of it, which matters when you are trying to seat six or eight. The arms and the cushioned seat make it a chair people stay in after the plates are cleared, not one they get up from. It suits a covered terrace, a pool deck, or a rooftop dining setup where the table is the center of the room. Timo is offered in the single Dark Charcoal finish, so the decision is scale and quantity rather than color.
Aluminum does not rust, which is the practical argument for it anywhere near salt air. Teak handles the outdoors on its own and will weather to a soft silver grey over time unless you oil it to hold the warmer tone. The Sunproof fabric cushion is built for sun exposure, though bringing cushions under cover before an afternoon storm will keep them looking new longer.
