Wave Swivel Armchair
Description
The Wave Swivel Armchair combines a mocha aluminum frame with teak and latte olefin rope, a mix that keeps the chair warm and relaxed instead of heavy. It is the swivel chair of Pebl's Wave range, whose sculpted, rounded silhouettes are meant to suggest flowing motion and echo the ocean. Wave was designed in Belgium by Pebl's design team led by creative director Robin Delaere.

The seat is done in Sunproof fabric, and the chair comes with two cushions. Mocha, latte and natural teak read as a quiet, layered neutral that sits easily next to stone, wood or water. At 39 inches wide and 38 inches deep, this is a real lounge chair rather than a slim occasional seat, with room to settle in for an afternoon. The swivel base is the reason most people choose it: you can turn toward the pool, the view or whoever is talking without moving the chair. It works well in a conversation group of two or four around a low table, on a covered terrace, a pool deck or a shaded courtyard. The Wave Swivel Armchair is offered in a single finish, Mocha Teak, so a matched set stays consistent.
Aluminum does not rust, which is what you want within reach of salt air, and the teak will weather to a soft silver grey if you leave it untreated. The olefin rope holds its color well under strong direct sun. Cushions last longest when they are brought in or stored dry ahead of an afternoon storm.
