Octa Trays
Description
The Octa Trays are serving trays built on a mocha aluminum frame with FSC teak handles. The shallow two inch profile keeps the surface flat and easy to load, while the warm teak grips break up the darker metal. The look is quiet and modern, closer to furniture than to accessory.
They come in three sizes, large, medium and small, in the one mocha and teak combination. Take a single tray for a coffee table, or use all three across a bar cart, a console and the outdoor dining table. The large tray at thirty-three inches wide suits a full round of drinks and glassware, while the small one sits comfortably on a side table next to a lounge chair. The teak handles give you a real grip when your hands are wet from the pool.
Outdoors in South Florida, the aluminum frame does not rust, which matters within reach of salt air and the afternoon storms. The teak handles will weather to a soft silver-grey in strong sun, which most owners simply let happen. Wipe the trays down after a storm and store them inside when you close up the house for the season.
