Description
The Orbit 1 Seater Sofa is a single seat lounge piece built on a mocha aluminum frame with FSC teak, upholstered in light grey fabric. The teak warms the darker metal, so the chair reads as furniture rather than hardware, which is what lets it sit comfortably in a finished outdoor room. One pillow is included.
At 41 inches wide and 41 inches deep, this is a generous single seat, closer to a lounge chair than an accent chair, with a back that rises to 39 inches and gives you something real to settle against. Two of them flank a sofa well, and a group of four works on its own around a low table. The scale suits a covered loggia, a pool deck, or a roof terrace where you want proper seating instead of folding pieces. It is offered in the one finish shown, mocha aluminum with teak and light grey upholstery.
Aluminum does not rust, so the frame takes humidity and coastal salt air without the corrosion that troubles steel outdoors. The teak will weather to a soft silver grey over time if you leave it alone, or you can hold it closer to its original tone with regular teak cleaning and oiling. As with any upholstered outdoor seating, let the cushions dry after an afternoon storm and bring them in when the house is closed up for a stretch.
