Description
The Tolo 1 Seater Sofa is a single seat lounge piece with a wide, squared frame and olefin rope woven across the backrest. Order it with a mocha aluminum frame, latte rope and light grey upholstery over a light grey rope backrest, or in teak wood with beige rope and sunproof fabric upholstery. Either way it reads low and horizontal, closer to modern indoor lounge seating than to traditional patio furniture.
At 36 inches wide and 42 inches deep, this is a genuinely deep seat, built for sitting back rather than perching. A cushion is included, and the single seat format is easy to plan around: two facing a low table, four squared off by the pool, or one pulled up to seating you already own. The finish decision is mocha or teak. Mocha keeps the frame quiet and lets the light grey upholstery carry the room, while teak brings the warm element to a covered terrace or lanai.
The mocha version is built on an aluminum frame, so salt air will not rust it, and olefin rope holds its color well under strong Florida sun. Teak left untreated will weather to a soft silver grey over a season or two, and oiling it will hold the original tone longer if you prefer that look. As with any outdoor upholstery, the cushion lasts longest when it is brought in or covered ahead of an afternoon storm.
