Orbit Side Table
Description
The Orbit Side Table is a low round table with a travertine stone top, offered in a teak finish. Travertine is a natural stone, so no two tops read exactly alike. Expect soft variation in tone and veining across the surface, and a quiet, sculptural shape that sits easily in a modern outdoor room.
At 30 inches across and 13 inches high, Orbit sits low, closer to the height of a coffee table than a standard end table. That puts it within easy reach of a deep lounge chair or a low sectional, and gives you enough surface for a tray, a few glasses and a book at the same time. Use it as a shared table between two chairs, at the corner of a sectional, or beside a chaise by the pool. It is offered in the one finish, teak with a travertine top, so there is nothing to configure.
South Florida is hard on outdoor furniture, and a stone top wants a little attention. Rinse the travertine with fresh water now and then so salt does not build up on the surface, and dry the top after an afternoon storm rather than letting water stand on it. A covered terrace or a spot under a pergola is the easiest place to keep it looking its best.
