Description
The Tube Dining Table is a round outdoor dining table with a beige ceramic top on a mocha aluminum base. The palette is warm and low in contrast, the kind of neutral that sits well against travertine, stone, or a planted edge. Nothing about it is decorative; the interest is in the proportion and in the two materials meeting.
At 59 inches across, it is a generous round, so conversation carries across the table instead of down a line of seats. A round top also works well in tighter courtyards and on balconies, where a rectangular table pushes all the traffic to one side. It suits a covered terrace, a pool deck, or a garden dining area where the table stays put and gets set often. It comes in the Mocha finish, so the decision here is really about the chairs you pair with it.
Outdoors in South Florida, the material pairing does the work. Aluminum does not rust, so salt air and humidity are not a worry for the base, and the ceramic top is non-porous, so it does not absorb spills and wipes clean after an afternoon storm. Ceramic also holds its color in direct sun.
