Haven Dining Armchair
Description
The Haven Dining Armchair is built on an aluminum frame finished in mocha, with 6mm olefin rope worked across the frame and a seat upholstered in light gray sunproof fabric. The warm brown frame, the texture of the rope and the pale gray fabric read relaxed and current, closer to a resort dining table than a traditional patio set. It is a clean, low profile chair that looks right in groups of four, six or more.
At 23 inches wide and 26 inches deep, it pulls up to a dining table without crowding the place settings, and the 19 inch seat height suits standard outdoor dining tables. The arms give you something to settle into, so this is a chair for long dinners outside rather than quick meals. Haven is offered in the single mocha and light gray combination, which keeps a full set consistent no matter how many chairs you order. It works on a covered terrace, at a poolside table, or in a screened dining room.
Aluminum does not rust, which matters anywhere near salt air, and olefin rope holds its color in strong sun instead of fading quickly. The sunproof fabric is made for outdoor use and takes South Florida humidity and afternoon storms in stride, though it will last longest if you let the upholstery dry fully after heavy rain. A rinse with fresh water now and then keeps salt and pollen from building up on the frame and rope.
