Riva Side Table
Description
The Riva Side Table is a compact outdoor table built from three materials that do the work. Powder-coated 304 stainless steel legs in Mocha carry an 18 mm FSC-certified teak top, with upholstery in Sunproof Fontelina 163 rounding out the frame. The mix reads warm and quiet rather than showy, and the small profile keeps it from competing with the seating around it.
At 10 inches wide and 12 inches deep, Riva is sized to sit beside a lounge chair or at the end of a sectional, close enough to hold a drink and a phone without crowding the seat. The 17 inch height lands near arm level on most outdoor lounge seating, so you are not reaching down for it. It is offered in one finish, Mocha with teak, which makes it easy to repeat two or three times around a pool deck or a covered terrace. The light footprint also means you can move it as the shade shifts through the afternoon.
Teak handles South Florida weather about as well as any wood does. Left untreated it will give up its honey tone and settle into a soft silver-grey after a season or two in direct sun, and periodic teak sealer will hold the original color longer if that is what you want. The powder-coated 304 stainless steel legs suit humid, salty coastal air, and the Sunproof fabric is made to hold its color under strong sun.
