About

The Darling collection

Designer Normand Couture, known as "Mr. Sofa" and born in 1951, writes that he felt privileged to acknowledge the creators of that era, and the collection references their bentwood experiments. Darling is built on a sturdy, contract-grade welded aluminum structure with Tiger brand powder coating.

SoBe Furniture's quick-ship Darling selection includes the Darling Armchair DA10, the Darling Sofa DA30 and the oval Darling Coffee Table DA04. The armchair and sofa combine the aluminum frame with UV treated outdoor rope and high density foam cushions in COUTUREtex, a solution-dyed acrylic. The coffee table has a high pressure laminate top. Each piece comes in two coordinated finishes: Anthracite with Dark Grey cushions or an Anthracite HPL top, or Camel with Oyster cushions or an Oyster Marble HPL top.
