COUTURE Jardin was founded in 2009 by Normand Couture, a designer known as "Mr. Sofa" who began his career designing indoor furniture before turning to outdoor design. The brand states that his work has won 75 international awards, including seven consecutive American Pinnacle Awards, and that COUTURE Jardin collections are sold in 76 countries. Its project references include the Casa Moderne Residence in Miami.
The range covers 40 COUTURE Jardin collections, including Hug, Loop, Sky, So Chic, Delight, Club, Diva, Welcome, Polo, Enjoy and Darling. It includes sofas and modular seating, armchairs and swivel chairs, hanging chairs, daybeds and a cabana, chaise lounges, dining and bar pieces, coffee and side tables, solar lamps, cushions and accessories. Frames are mostly aluminum in finishes such as anthracite, white, light grey, greige, ebony, bronze, oak and teak look, with MAX rope weaving across the Hug and Loop collections, and most upholstered seating uses COUTUREtex cushions in Oyster, Greige, Dark Grey, Light Grey, Granite or Dove.
